College Corps helps seniors with the college search and application process. This includes writing personal essays, writing scholarship essays, finding financial aid, and sorting through the FAFSA financial aid application. There is no charge for this assistance. We also help with completing your SHS Senior Profile. College Corps weekly schedule: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday: 2:30 - 4:00 - Wednesday: by appointment.

Students if you are interested in math, science, art, architecture, engineering and construction. The ACE MENTOR PROGRAM of Washington has an internship opportunity that will help you build a good resume. Application deadline is October 10. For information see Mrs. McDonald in the Career Center.
School pictures will be on Wednesday, October 15. All students and staff need to have a picture taken for their school ID. Packets to make purchase are available in the main office.
Cornish College will have a representative at SHS Career Center October 16th at 1:00pm. Everyone is welcome.
Interested in Science, consider Lake Washington Watershed Internship for twelve months at Kelsey Creek. 90 hours of internship can be considered as community service hours. To apply see Mrs. McDonald in the career center or Julie Rose at 425.450.0207.

40 HOURS COMMUNITY SERVICE REQUIRED TO GRADUATE – START ACCUMULATING HOURS NOW…...The 24th Annual Jingle Bell Run & Walk to benefit the Arthritis Foundation will be held Sunday, December 14th at Westlake Center in Downtown Seattle. They are looking for over 400 volunteers – Check the Community Service table outside the Cafeteria.
